We will meet the evening before at the Holiday Inn in Socorro.   We'll discuss where and what we will be doing for the next two days' activities.  Most of the photos will be sandhill cranes, ducks, maybe coyotes, hawks, eagles, roadrunners, and maybe mule deer.  All sites can be accessed by vehicle, so there will be very little walking required.  We'll also go west of Socorro on Hwy. 60, past Magdalea to the Antenna Farm. So, bring your wide-medium and large-format lenses. Also bring your bottle of air or rocket blower to keep your camera and lenses free of dust.

Pack sturdy hiking shoes, light to moderate jackets, and rain gear.  It's hard to say what kind of weather New Mexico will throw at us that time of year.

There are numerous hotels available in Socorro, I'll be staying at the Holiday Inn.  You will need to make reservations as soon as possible.  The closest major airport is in Albuquerque, NM. about 80 miles to the north.  El Paso is about 200 miles to the south.
